  1. On Friday morning, emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash around 6:35 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-35 at U.S. 79. Several vehicles appeared to spin out on the roadways. The far left lane remained open while crews worked to clear the road, though the crash temporarily caused delays for both inbound and outbound traffic. (KEYE TV CBS Austin)
  2. The 2022 version of the Central Texas congressional map will have at least one, possibly two members of the U.S. House of Representatives to call its own: the new TX-37, where Lloyd Doggett is seeking his 15th term in Congress, and TX-35, which is now dominated by Travis and Hays County voters. The new congressional map was mostly drawn by the incumbent GOP members of the Texas delegation. (Austin Chronicle)
