Buda (Hays County) —An Addison developer had their preliminary plat for a proposed car dealership approved at Tuesday’s meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
The 16.65-acre site is undeveloped land located northeast of the intersection of Turnersville Road and Interstate 35. The address, 1401 Turnersville Road, is in the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.
Sunfield Investments LLC, out of Addison, wants to open a Sunfield-Subaru dealership.
The proposed layout contains four lots with The largest lot, at 12.397 acres, being the main development lot, according to city documents.
Other lots include a 4.05 drainage/utility access lot, a 0.149-acre drainage lot, and a small 0.058-acre lot for an existing billboard on the site.
Will Huff, a water resources engineer for Freese and Nichols in Austin and the San Antonio office of Pape-Dawson Engineers are on board the project.
