GIRARD — Beaver Local dropped its second straight contest 44-38 to Girard on Saturday.
The Beavers are 2-2 and play at Indian Creek today.
Chansyn Hoppel led the Beavers with 13 points.
Beaver Local led by two points going into the final quarter.
Kylie Narry had eight points to aid the Beaver effort.
Girard won the jayvee game, 31-15. Taylor Fitzsimmons had nine points for the Beavers.

Olivia Toland scored 34 to lead the winners. Alexus Greenlief scored 19 points for the Golden Bears, while Lizzie Kell added 18.

COLUMBIANA — Madi Matthews had 21 points and Lexi Rice added 19 more as Heartland tripped up Wellsville 54-33 on Saturday.
