George A. Kusiowski, 71, a resident of Harborcreek Twp., formerly, Vernonia, Ore., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at UPMC Hamot Hospital.
He was born in Prattsburg, N.Y., on Feb. 10, 1950, son of the late Walter and Katherine (Dziuba) Kusiowski.
George attended Brocton High school and was a graduate of Fredonia High School. He went on to further studies in colleges in both New York and New Jersey; having earned an associate degree in engineering. He was employed for several years on the family’s farm in Oregon prior to moving to the Erie area. George was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In addition to his love of music, George also enjoyed playing guitar and accordion. He will be fondly remembered by many for his incredible handyman skills to which he loved putting at the service of family, friends, and strangers alike; always be-ing willing to lend a helping hand whenever called upon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra J. Kusiowski, on Dec. 16, 2021; his sister, Jolanta Armstrong, with whom he resided, also passed away.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas Kusiowski (Georgia); brother-in-law, John Armstrong; as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dusckas Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Erie, Pa.
