Samsung is on a roll. Barely a month ago, they held their annual Galaxy Unpacked event, where a new S22 line of smartphones and much more were unveiled.  The new S22 Ultra in that line is technically a Note device with a different name, but more of that will come in a later hands-on review. Now, the company has sent out an invitation to watch the next event called the Samsung Awesome Galaxy A event.

Democratizing the Latest Galaxy Innovations For All

This is the theme of the upcoming Samsung Awesome Galaxy A event which is slated for March 17, 2022, at 6:00 pm EAT. It is an event exclusively meant for their mid-range A-series line of smartphones. The company says it is taking the impactful Galaxy innovations for the A series even further.

Last year at around the same time, they launched the Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72. It follows, therefore, that the new devices coming this week are the Galaxy A73 and A53. Samsung states in their invite that these new devices are designed to “provide the fully-loaded experience that people want from a smartphone.”

Even though the Galaxy A72 did not come with 5G last year, it is rumored that the A73 and A53 will both feature 5G support this year.  The  gadgets are expected to run Android 12-based One UI 4 out-of-the-box. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is likely to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, while the Galaxy A53 5G is to be a 6.52-inch AMOLED display.

In processing power, the Galaxy A73 might run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC while it is reported that the A53 will get an Exynos 1200 SoC.

You can watch the event live on Samsung’s YouTube channel or their website.
